We are deeply committed to the ethical and humane treatment of our animals; both during their lifetimes and the USDA processing methods we choose.
We are also proud members of the American Wagyu Association - where all of our animals are DNA tested to ensure only the highest quality beef makes it from our farm to your table!

Several years ago we started Lakeside Farms with some big ‘ole hopes and dreams! Like many people, I suffer from autoimmune issues and allergies and was searching for a way to eat clean, boost my immune system and stay healthy. I can’t tolerate most grocery store foods that contain chemicals, hormones, steroids, additives and harmful things. So we figured the only way to avoid that was to grow it ourselves.
Lakeside Farms is a small family owned and operated business located in a small lakeside community in deep East Texas. We offer highly specialized Wagyu beef products and other farm fresh products (in season) such as local honey and fresh produce.
Keeping the farm small is important to us. This way, we can continue to enjoy our farm life while ensuring that our customers receive the best quality products that only personal oversight can provide. We feel very blessed to be able to share a small part of that with you … from our farm to your table.
Farm life has had other unexpected benefits for us. We’ve both had lifelong corporate stressful careers. Working with these beautiful animals, fresh air, sunshine, hands in the dirt and physical work, has brought stress relief and health benefits like nothing else we’ve ever known.
We love our animals and have caring contact with them daily to help promote their wellbeing… and yours.

We All Eat Well
Our Animals always have fresh water available along with well-fed ponds for their drinking and wading pleasure. They are raised on pasture grass, good clean hay, molasses protein & mineral tubs, and LNC grain throughout their lives; momma cows, yearlings, bulls, and steers - they all eat well.
